Oct. Mommies check in!!!!! (SEPT.)
37 days left!!!!!!!! I can not freaking wait!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooo umcomfortable, my sleeping has become so broken, Doing everything is a mission specially my job. I am really looking forward to having him here already! My last sono is Friday so I am excited. I will be 34 weeks on Thursday. I was thinking about doing another maternity shoot, but I am not sure I have the energy plus I can save the $$$ for a newborn shoot instead which I think would be money better spent. How are all of you?????

I am 36w now - due in 23 days! Sleeping is a sport unto itself. It takes a lot to turn over from side to side that's for sure. Tying my shoes is ever more difficult too. Overall though I feel really good so I;m happy about that.
Went to the doctor today and there's nothing going on so, we wait!

46 days to go and I am exhausted. I am sleepy all day long because i make at least two trips to the bathroom at night. Time has been flying though, so I'm hoping september goes by really quick.

Hi ladies! I cannnot wait either!!!! I have approx 30 days to go, I go this Friday and am going to schedule a repeat c-section I've recently decided since I think I pretty much am too scared to try for vbac at this point. I'm now starting to have a hard time sleeping mainly because of acid reflux, so I cannot wait for that to go away. Not much longer to go girls!!!!

Re: Oct. Mommies check in!!!!! (SEPT.)
Hi!
I have 48 days left and I am having a lot of difficulty sleeping. I have no problem falling asleep but when I get up to pee (at 3:45 like clockwork) I am awake and can't fall back asleep. Started school again yesterday and it was sooo hot, which really knocked me out. Looking forward to some cooler weather soon!

Re: Oct. Mommies check in!!!!! (SEPT.)
4 weeks from today I will be holding our new addition.
I haven't done anything yet and I am starting to get a little crazy.
Still waiting for a dresser so I can finally get DD1 clothes out of storage, wash them and see if I need to get anything since this one will need different seasons of clothes. Hopefully this weekend I'll have it.
DH just got all of the gear out of storage and I need to clean them.
At least it will keep me busy!

I am 32.5 weeks and don't kill me, but...I feel great!
I will be having a repeat c/s and I was hoping to get my date yesterday, but evidently I have to wait another two weeks for that.
My girls are starting school...#1 started K today and my little one will be starting nursery next Tuesday, so I will have 9 hours a week to get things in order all.by.myself!!!! If you are a SAHM, you know what I mean!
Getting excited--can't believe it's next month!

Re: Oct. Mommies check in!!!!! (SEPT.)
I have about 6 weeks to go. I am very grateful to be pregnant, but it has been very challenging. I feel like I take medicine all day long. I am still battling nausea, anemia, swollen feet, backaches, and exhaustion. I went back to work this week (teaching assistant for students with special needs), and the heat is unbearable in the classroom and out (I have lunch/recess duty). The baby is measuring a little on the small side, and the amniotic fluid is borderline. Still have to meet with pediatricians, take a lamaze class, take a BF class, pack my hospital bag, and wash baby clothes. I bought a rug for the nursery so that's done! I can't wait to see his little face! It's definitely going to be weird not having him doing fist pumps and soccer kicks in my belly after he's born....lol.
Good luck October mommies!!

47 days to go and feeling good...I have been more tired these last few days, but I think it's because I started teaching again. The 5:15 alarm clock, plus the several bathroom trips in the middle of the night have made me very, very cranky! Can't wait to meet my little one though!

p.s. I am a little jealous because you girls have gotten sonos and such, but my Dr. hasn't and won't do sono until 37 weeks. I haven't seen my LO since 20 weeks! I am getting anxious and hoping that everything is OK in there!

Re: Oct. Mommies check in!!!!! (SEPT.)
46 days left - YIKES!!! Went for a growth sono a week and a half ago and baby was measuring almost 5lbs!!!! Now we go to the doc every 2 weeks so we go again on Tuesday.
I've been feeling good but have been out of work on STD b/c of some pre-term labor issues I had a couple of weeks ago. My job offers great disability coverage so I'm still getting paid and am not eating into my maternity leave for after the baby's here - thank goodness!!!
It might just be me but I feel like I hit the 33w mark and everything started getting a lot more difficult. Sleeping is a thing of the past and just getting dressed and putting on makeup to start the day is a chore. I'm nervous about the next 6wks or so!!!
Hope everyone stays well....

Re: Oct. Mommies check in!!!!! (SEPT.)
I am offically 33 weeks tomorrow with 7 weeks to go! I feel good overall. I am having trouble sleeping- tossing and turning from hip pain and arm numbness. I walk 2 miles every day but it has gotten really tough. I get crampy and have to use the bathroom every half a mile. TMI but i notice LESS discharge which is something i am going to talk to my doctor about today because i thought it was suppose to INCREASE as the pregnancy goes along. I also have trouble breathing when i lay down. Guess baby gets cramped against my lungs. She is moving a ton and i love the feeling! I actually nudge her from time to time so she moves. LOL. Whenever i rest a book on my tummy she nudges me to move it off- its pretty funny.
At my last appt- (32 weeks) baby girl was measuring 4 pounds 2 oz and i was told she is measuring a week ahead. YIKES! me and my husband are both tall so i assuming she is going to be a big baby.
I am feeling large- up 24 pounds. Getting dressed is a chore and i refuse to buy any more maternity clothes at this point (even though i just ordered two pairs of sweat pants outfits from Old Navy) LOL.
This summer has been filled with parties or obligations every weekend and i am finally done. Now time to focus on me, hubby, baby and the future.
Wishing you all easy deliveries -

Re: Oct. Mommies check in!!!!! (SEPT.)
34 weeks now and I'm just exhausted constantly.
I'm also lucky enough to have split my abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) from above my belly button to almost my pubic line. And this has caused an umbilical hernia, which is the most painful thing I've ever dealt with OMG.
Baby is breech still. Still had low, but stable, amniotic fluid at last week's u/s. Hoping we schedule my repeat c/s next week.
Hang in there ladies, we're in the home stretch

I went to doc today for normal check up and they said no more sonos for me (im 33 weeks). From here on in the do internals where they can tell the babies size from the head? Anyone else hear this?

Re: Oct. Mommies check in!!!!! (SEPT.)
35 weeks, 5 days here... Starting to feel like I can't go on like this forever. Definitely tired again. Sleeping is the same - I am comfortable but I get up alot to pee and it is hard for me to get out of the bed. My biggest issue right now is that my feet and ankles have been extremely swollen. I go to the doctor on Monday but am thinking of stopping at a CVS tomorrow to check out my blood pressure. My face felt a little puffy today. I feel huge and stopped looking at the scale to see how much I gained. Nursery should be finished this weekend!!!!!!!!!

Re: Oct. Mommies check in!!!!! (SEPT.)
I have 48 days to go. I am sleeping pretty well..I can't believe it but am still sleeping on my stomach. Of course I wake up 3-4 times a night to pee, though. Breathing has really become difficult, along with really bad heartburn (it seems to come in spurts (two days really bad, two days off).
Our nursery is painted, closet doors on, new window treatments and furniture is in. Now I just have to put away all the delightful things from the baby showers. I still need to "decorate" as well.
It looks like I will be working until the end, so I am panicking a bit about taking the A train to the city
Hope that we all breeze through to our delivery dates

Hmm I haven't heard of this before, however my OB is the type that does sonos at all of my appts, he was the same way when I had my first baby too. But I have had friends whose doctors only do a couple of sonos their entire pregnancy, just never heard of only internals from that point on.

I had a sono at 32 weeks and don't have another one scheduled. My internals start at 36 weeks.
