Oct. Mommies check in! (Aug.)

Hello ladies! How is the 3rd trimester treating you????? We're getting close to the finish line how exciting!
I have my last sono scheduled for Sept 10th and my csection is scheduled for Oct. 15th (I have chickened out of trying for a vbac) I don't have anything done in the nursery yet, that's hubby's job and he's taking his time on this one....ughh
I did take out all of Adriano's NB and 0-3 clothes and hung them up in my closet for now......I am very anxious to meet my new lil man! Hope these next 10 weeks go by fast for me! Has anyone thought about Halloween costumes???? lol

Hiii!! I am wondering how the next few weeks will be. I still have "morning sickness" so I guess it'll be with me the whole way. Tomorrow is my baby shower, and Monday is the 3 hour glucose test...ahhh! I am also going to some classes at the hospital this month and next. Not sure when my next sono is, and I'm due the 22nd. The mural in the nursery is done, and furniture is in but not delievered. I am feeling anxious, too! I saw some costumes at Babies R Us, but I don't know if my little boy will be too small for a costume.

Hi girls! I can't believe not too much longer to go. I'm hoping for a VBAC this time around and I'm due Oct 16th. I had my 2nd 1 hour glucose test today and keeping my fingers crossed I passed again (1st pregnancy I had GD). I have a growth sono in a couple of weeks. My hubby has been working this week on the nursery so by next week hopefully it will be completed and we are waiting for the furniture to arrive next week. Hope everyone is feeling great! Chat Icon

Hey ladies! I can't believe how close we are getting. My sleep is becoming more disrupted, my shower is on Sunday, I have most of my nursey set up (painted and furniture in) but still have some things I need to do to it. I'm starting to lose my second wind from the second trimester. My due date is Oct 8. Hope your all doing well!

Hello Ladies!

I have 8 weeks to go (due October 1) and the nursery is still in shambles. We are almost done cleaning it out, and thankfully we don't have to paint the room since it's a sage green already. Almost all the furniture is in, but not delivered.

Depending on the humidity depends on how much my feet swell up. LOL! Trying to drink lots of water and not do too much in one day.

Re: Oct. Mommies check in! (Aug.)

Crib has arrived, still in a box though. DD2 will be sharing with DD1 so we wanted coordinated furniture. Currently, DD1 has this crib in Amber (light cherry) Roxanne Crib and there is a white wardrobe from Ikea in there and a cherry dresser.

So, we came across this crib
Olivia crib which matches perfectly. We also decided to change the Changing table from the type with shelves (can you say, not toddler friendly?) with the matching changer/dresser Dresser/changer We did put the dresser together and I LOVE it! Can't wait to finish the room. Finding the energy is the problem. We will be waiting until September to pain in there, it's just too danged HOT right now to paint!

Rafaela, I'm sad you won't be having the VBAC. I was going to live vicariously through you! I think you were due on the 21st as well?

Nicky - hope your shower went well! Good luck on the 3 hr test!

Robin - I hope you pass!

Vicki - OMG the swelling is unreal on this end too.

Yeah, this end? Swelling is unreal and I found out I have low fluid so I've got to have another u/s next week. Makes me nervous, even more so than my history of pre eclampsia does.

hi Girls :O)
We're all getting closeChat Icon Chat Icon i can't believe it!!
Last week I spent some time in L&D because I had sudden excrutiating pelvic pain. I most likely have symphasis pubis dysfunction, which sucks! the pain is so bad at times :O( also diagnosed with GD, so doing insulin at night, and checking my sugars 4x a day. Had a doctors appointment today, and I've actually lost 4 pounds, so he is happy with that and feels that my sugars are being well controlled. Next week, i start weekly biophysical profiles and ultrasounds because of the GD! so I guess that's a plus!

The baby's room has been painted! it looks awesome! furniture coming on friday, we ordered the morgan collection from JCPenney! And we're having wood floors put in the entire upstairs next week! so things are coming along!!
WHo else is going to New baby belly breastfeeding class? I see DSLaff is going, me too! anyone else?
HOpe you're all doing well!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'll be 32 weeks on Wednesday. Other than some crazy rib pain & sternum pain, I feel ok. I think I'm just too short to be pregnant. Chat Icon Chat Icon Everything is getting "squished" upwards. And I have NOTHING done in the nursery. Haven't even started emptying it yet. Better get a move on!

Hi ladies!

I'm due october 1 and cannot believe how fast it is coming. I am feeling ok... just really tired and big.

The nursery is nowhere near ready.... we are still fixing up our new house and it is in shambles. I sooo want to be setting up, but we are still painting and getting floors done.

Good luck everybody!!!
