ob recommendations please
Hi ladies!
i have to stay in hiding for a while but im glad to see the familiar names from the LIWEDDINGS boards!
I took a pregnancy test on Monday and im expecting! (so strange to write that!)
I need recommendations for an OB in the mineola - garden city area. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dr. Plancher in Garden City is amazing. Great bedside manner. Very calming. Affiliated with Winthrop. Is you call with a question/concern, he gets right on the phone. All blood work and sonos done in office. Entire staff is excellent, including sono tech.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my OB. Her name is Jennifer Hanauer. She is located right in Garden City on Old Country Road. One of my friends recommended her to me a few years ago and now almost all of my friends go to her. She's great! She is also associated with Winthrop and bloodwork and sonos are in the office which makes life a lot easier!

i have a group practice that I go to...Long Island Women...they have an office in Mineola, one in New Hyde Park and one in Syosset. They are affiliated with Winthrop. My primary OB is Dr. Leiberman and I LOVE her. All the other doctors are great too.

i LOVE her!! she really is an amazing dr. i dont think she is taking any new patients though...
her partner, dr dolisi is equally amazing though - he delivered my first DS. and he is much easier to get an appt with!

I see Dr. H...she is a fabulous doctor but their office waits are VERY long and the receptionists (one in particular) are pretty freakin nasty.

im a hanauer girl but she was booked this week for my 40week appt so im seeing dolisi he seemed to have a lot of openings why is that???
how was dolisi with delievery he is on call t his week when im due i had hanauer the first time. i wish i could have her again but this lil guy doesnt want to come out this weekend

I'm a Hanauer girl but when she is booked, I see Dr. Dolisi. I really liked him. With my first, Hanauer was on vacation right after my c section, so Dolisi did my hospital visits and he was really nice. I liked his laid back attitude and would have no problem having him during delivery.

Drs. Dilena, Lopresti and Nadell of complete women's care. They are an amazing group. Dilena is my main doctor and he is the sweetest person you will ever meet. And the office staff is so amazing.

Dr. Dolisi delivered my dd! Omg he is AMAZING! I love him and would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him. Dr Hanoveur is awesome too!!! I saw her during one of my checks after the baby was born. And I also saw her a few times in the office. I would have had no problem with either delivering. Dolis did my C/S and I had the most easiest recovery!!
I am moving to Western Suffox possibly and I am contemplating still going to that office bc I love them and trust them so much ( and I was hi risk)

Dr. Dilena is amazing!! ... and so are the other 2 doctors in the practice.
Dr. Nadell and Dr. LoPresti
They deliver at Winthrop in Mineola

Wait time at the office is not bad at all...I've noticed a lot of threads about some offices having over an hour wait time. I never waited more than 10-15 minutes here.
