Nursery pictures!
The nursery is finally painted! Now we can arrange for the furniture to be delivered.
DH worked really hard on this room and I am so proud of him! We both spent many hours measuring the stripes and making sure they were pefect. I am in love with the room. The only other thing we may do is try to put a chair rail up. However I can't get DH near power tools right now!
What do you think?

The colors you've chosen for your  are soothing and beautiful! The clouds are fantastic! I love the stripes too. They are perfect!! I would probably add the chair rail though... it looks like the top of the stripes need something to finish them off. Maybe give the hubby a break for a week or two and then ask him to put in the chair rail?

I love it. The stripes came out great.
ETA: I'd definitely add the chair rail. It will really compliment the stripes.

Thanks ladies! I really want the chair rail but I am having a hard time convincing DH to install it. He has no clue how to do it and doesn't even want to try at this point. We'll see. I am happy with it the way it is, so if I don't get a chair rail it's not the end of the world. I can't wait to see his furniture in there.

Im pretty sure when my dad did the one in mt parents' house he just nailed it to the wall. It literally took like 5 minutes.

i would suggest this....if you dont wanna do the chair rail, i think a thicker white stripe going horizontal (to finish off the vertical stripes) would look just as beautiful as a chair rail if hes nervous about drilling...

Looks great! I would def do a chair rail. Your dh needs to get a mitre box (sp?) to cut the molding for the corners.
Such a great addition. If my dh can do it, anyone's dh can do it.
This is the molding we chose...we still have to paint it.

Love love love your choice of colors! It looks fantastic!! I would definitely do either a chair rail or a thick white line in paint to "finish" it off....it really looks like it's half done right now. But, with a rail or even a stripe---it'll be pure perfection! Congrats on the progress.
