Now we "food shame" too??!!
I just can't.  Why does society feel the need to label everything??? A "salad slammer" and a "food fascist"??? This had me  , SO silly.

because we're a society of spoiled, hypersensitive, whining, crying babies without any coping skills who need constant confirmation from anyone and everyone else regarding our life choices. 
No one can buy a dress without 50 'likes' on FB .........
No one can get cut from a team simply because they weren't good enough.
No one can fail a class, get rejected from their top choice college, handle the pressure of an exam, job interview, deadline without popping a Xanex -
No one can be thin, or fat, or beautiful, or ugly or gay or straight or, or, or without having to explain themselves to the entire world, and having some other random person somewhere championing their 'struggle'
I seriously fear for my children and my future grandchildren ..........
I got a bit heated in response to some "salad slammers and food facists" .....

I can't count how many times I've been criticized by family and friends for eating healthy, or dare I say, organic

LOL. And you aren't allowed to say that you ate Kraft Mac and Cheese and turned out fine.
Because apparently the Kraft Mac and Cheese from the 70s was much more natural and contained a TON less chemicals than the Kraft Mac and Cheese now.
I always love that comeback.

So crazy! I feel like everyone is so politically correct and hypersensitive to EVERYTHING these days. No matter what anyone says someone takes issue with it in some way. I don't understand concerning yourself with what everyone else around you is doing and/or saying.
I don't know, when I was growing up someone who had a comment for everything was just considered to be an a$$hole...............I don't know why that same a$$hole has to now have a special label such as a "fat shamer", "salad slammer", "food fascist", and on and on and on. It's all so utterly ridiculous to me.

the label may be new but the practice isn't.
I once came back from subway with the foot long veg sandwich, and one of the giant bags they put it in & my co-worker, yells out " THAT's your lunch?!"
I know it was b/c a- she was bitter & tactless & b- she was a diabetic who had to watch what she ate carefully, but it did make me self conscious of what I ate in the office.

There are two groups of a holes in this article:
The "food shamers" and the people whining about being "food shamed."

For sure! People have been expressing their opinions and making snide remarks about everything and everyone under the sun since the dawn of time. I *personally* don't understand why we now need to label it all. I just think it's ridiculous and makes a bigger deal out of something than it really is. Everyone is always rallying around something these days.
