Re: November IVF

I go tomorrow for my blood test but I broke down this AM and took a HPT - BFN. Chat Icon

I haven't read about any "false negatives" after IVF so I'm preparing myself for the news... tomorrow will be a rough day for sure.

I just found out that my 7 remaining embryos did NOT make it to freeze. I am literally "putting all my eggs in one basket!" I don't know what I will do if my beta is negative next week. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thanks barbara. I am trying to stay positive. I really didn't mind the IVF cycle, as I had no bad reaction to my protocol. So doing another round isn't the end of the world for me, but it's these darn PIO shots that are killing me! If I have to go through another round of shots I will die! Please let this cycle work!!Chat Icon

I completely agree. PIO was by far the most difficult part of the whole process. I ended up being allergic to the sesame oil and needed to change to olive oil - disaster. You'll be in my prayers - positive thoughts! When is your blood test?

My beta is next thursday, dec 10. Will that beta tell me anything, or is it usually the second and third betas that are important?

Luluu - you're right, it takes just one egg! I have to keep remembering that!Chat Icon

Well, I can only go off what my Dr's said. They like to see atleast a 50 on the first Beta HCG test and then the key test is the test 48hrs later to make sure it's doubling. Chat Icon Chat Icon

48 hours? Oh no! My first beta is on a thursday and my clinic doesn't do betas on the weekends, so I will have to wait until NEXT monday the 14th for my second!?!?Chat Icon
