November IVF
It seems there are a lot of us starting our IVF cycles this week. Who is with me?
I started BCPs yesterday and will take them for 10 days.

Me three! I've been on Lupron since 10/17 and stimming with Menopur & Gonal Pen for 4 days now. Went today for a bw/sono. So far they see 9 follies. Waiting for my phone call this afternoon to get my next set of instructions!

I have been on Lupron in the am and Menopur & Follistim at night :) Went this morning for B&S and just waiting to see what they say, they might decrease my meds because they said I had great progress so far! I should go sometime Sun, Mon or Tues for retrieval.

For the girst that have moved on to gonal-f and menopur - Are the gonal-f and menopur injections worse than the lupron injections or are they the same?
Also, is anyone else worried about the timing of things and Thanksgiving? I guess I am a little more worried because we are hosting 20 people at my house!!!! I think that my ER and ET will be right around that time.

I'm on Day 6 of stimming with Gonal and Menopur. I actually feel better on these than I did with just Lupron. I have my energy back and no headaches or hot flashes. For some reason the Menopur burns alittle bit but nothing that you can't handle!!!
I go back tomorrow morning for BW & Sono! Hoping for my ER early next week!!!

Menopur and Gonal F are the same shot as Lupron more or less. Yes, Menopur burns a bit but I do it slow.

the lupron is kinda painful, not looking forward to next week when i start the menopur & gonal. Can all injections be like the ovadril, those were nothing....

Ok, ladies, I need some big time support - I've been doing so well but I'm starting to get alittle antsy!
These every other day appts are exhausting and it looks like I'll be stimming for another 5 days or so - ahh - feels like an eternity!!

I'm with you ladies...I go everyday also and probably won't have my retrieval til Wednesday they said. So far, I have about 20 follies! My ovaries are rockin, and so is my stomach. They decreased my meds a little like I thought they would! I hope this works :)

oh man I am not looking forward to that stage. I am so overwhelmed with other things that I have going on right now, I don't know how I will make it thru.

My ovaries feel like they're the size of grapefruits! hahaha. I love that big/long scarves are in style!

me!! i was supposed to start Friday with Menopur but my water sono showed polyps and scar tissue sp next week im getting a hysterescapy (sp?) and off i start on injectibles on a clean uterus!

Our schedules are similar. I am still on BCPs and will start stimming on November 16.

Good luck November ladies! I am on day 5 of stimulation... I hope to have ER on Nov 25th!
My estrogen level on day 4 was 136 so hopefully things are progressing nicely. They haven't changed my procotol since I began so I guess that's a good sign... not sure!

So how are all you Nov IVF buddies doing?
I started Menopur (2 vials) and dexamethasone on monday. so far so good... had a hard time mixing the first time but I got the hang of it - kind of!!! I wish the plunger wouldnt pull down on its own sometimes!!!
aside from that i feel fine...
hows everyone else doing???

I'm on lupron (10), menopur (150) and follistim (150) and so far so good. Tonight will be day 5 of stims. After the doc reduced my lurpon dosage from 20, I stopped getting headaches. I feel good! 
We had a hard time mixing menopur the first night too. I think it took hubby and I 30 minutes! Now it takes us less than 15 to administer all 3.

I started Clomid yesterday (am doing minimal stimulation micro-ivf with Clomid then Bravelle and HCG trigger)
I am on 100mg for 5 days. Supposed to start Bravelle on Sunday night. SUPER nervous about the shots.
