not TTC, but have a question...
I'm not sure if this is where is should be asking but I thought I would try... I have been on BC for many many years, I didn't get my period for 3 months, and this month there was the slightest trace of it for like a day. I did take a PG test just in case but it was negative. I did lose some weight and in the past when my weight goes to low I don't get my period.( I have suffered from an ED) I tried to gain a few pounds which was this month. I have an appointment in few weeks with the GYN. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Any thoughts? It is making me nervous since I would like to start TTC by the end of the year.

Your first priority should be getting treatment for you ED so that you achieve a healthy weight for TTC. I would also check in with your OB/GYN regarding your concerns.

I've been in recovery and have been at a proper weight for a long time now (at the low end of the spectrum for my height) and i have been getting my period until a few months ago. My doctors and my wonderful DH and family keep me in check. I will definatly be speaking to the Dr. in a few weeks.

What BC are you using? There are some that make your period stop. Maybe that is what is happening. But I think talking to your Dr about it is the best thing.. Good Luck

I was on Loestrin 24 for about a year (and others before that for many years) when I started missing periods. It could be a combination of things, weight loss, stress, BCP. Definitely talk to your doctor about your concerns. GL
