Not to be gross...

When you check your CM, and you find EWCM-- how does it appear?

I have noticed it in two ways (HERE IS THE GROSS PART).

1. When I am '"looking" for it, and I look down while on the toilet. This is generally after a bowel movement-- I guess cause of the action. I literally see it hanging out. So, this is incredibly obvious.

2. At other times, when I wipe, there is just a lot on the toilet paper. I, of course examine it to be sure-- and some trips to the bathroom (on the same day) have more than other times. At times it almost appears clot-like, with clots of EWCM and the rest just very slippery. But it is obvious there is a lot of CM going on.

Ok, so having said that-- am I alone in this? When it comes to option #1, there is no denying it. But, on option #2, can I really count this as EWCM.

I have found the last two cycles that I have gotten a lot of EWCM a day before I got my positive OPK and this seems to be happening a lot earlier for me this cycle.

OK, yes it is gross LOL but we ALL go through it so its totally OK

If you read TCOYF it will tell you that one of the best times to check CM is after a BM so , that being said, YES it is definitely CM

BUT, squeezing or pushing to actually use the bathroom is making the CM come out which is why you see it hanging

if you are constipated like me, you still have to "check" for it

when you do, and it is wet, slippery and "Snot like" LOL, that is also CM and just as fertile!!

Rand i think both are EWCM bc i have both those things happen to me too

Yup, same here and yes I count that as ewcm.

Both are counted as EWCM.

Yes, this is totally normal. I got it, too. Here's some more TMI for me--I was wearing dark underwear, and when I stood up, I saw a huge white blob out of the corner of my eye and I was like WHAT IS THAT??????

BUT, that's during the month I got my BFP, so it's a good sign, apparently!

thanks-- I just wanted to make sure that I don't need this crap hanging out in order to *qualify*.

I am so excited because I think my cycles are getting shorter!! Perhaps I will get that BFP before I see the RE.

TCOYF suggests you stick your fingers all the way up there to see what you get, so CM on TP totally counts!

Mine is usually different throughout the course of a day too. Some times tons, others none.
