Not sure whether to switch my city mini on the registry

I registered for the 2011 city mini at BRU in stone. It's been out of stock for a full week now, after they've been advertising them a lot online. I'm guessing they are clearing out the old ones before the new ones come in. I'm not sure if I should leave it for a few weeks to see if it either comes back or they get the new ones in, or if I should just switch to another color. My shower is the first weekend of March, so I'm not sure how long I'd want to wait. A lot of bigger items are already being bought and another thread mentioned they wouldn't be shipping the new ones till March anyway. Would you switch it to a different 2011 at this point?

I would. I can't imagine them getting more in stock if they are being discontinued. I got the double for Christmas from bbb and they had a hard time locating it.

I'm in the same boat (and want the same color). The BRU person also suggested registering for a different color and just exchanging it when the new ones comes in (if you still like the stone/black 2012 version as it is a little different ).

It might be hard to even find a 2011. I bought my 2011 in the end of November (after Thanksgiving) and BBB only had a few colors and only one or two of the colors they did have.

I had to go to my 2nd choice of colors.
