Nosy neighbors...
We just moved a month ago. Our neighbors on one side are sweet, a nice little elderly couple. They stopped by and gave us cookies and flowers the first week we moved. Last week, we were sitting outside in the backyard and the invited us for drinks, so we went over, and they kept us hostage in their house chatting for an hour!
I'm noticing now that EVERY single time we go to the backyard to eat, play in the pool, etc, our elderly neighbors come out, with their dog, and are ready to chat.
They are sweet and innocent enough, but it's getting annoying. When I'm home, with my kids, I need some downtime, and I don't always want to chat with the neighbors EVERY time I go outside! 
And it's not like they have easy access to come over and talk to us - there is a fence between our properties that's covered in Ivy and bushes, but they literally walk up the edge of the fence and call out, every time!
Over this past weekend, they did it 5-6 times...
What's a girl to do???

We had the same problem. Very nice elderly neighbors, but we were their entertainment. I'd be outside reading a book and I'd end up taking to them for 1/2 hour and have to make an excuse to go inside.
We now have a six foot fence. We told them the dog was going crazy barking at everyone through the chain link and that we were worried she'd jump it because it was so low.
Now that we have a fence, I have never seen them in the backyard. They were only coming out to talk to us.
Good fences make good neighbors
