Man.. people are nosy!
Went to a BBQ at the inlaws this weekend... I got asked a million times why I wasn't drinking. I told everyone I had taken allergy medicine and just wasn't feeling 100%.. also told them I was the designated driver.. because DH was clearly wasted.
Well... after these people questioned me they apparently went to my MIL asking her if I was preggo
Mind your own business people!! If you haven't heard that I was then DONT ASK.. because you are obviously not going to be told the truth.
Too funny. I was under attack all day..We are going to break the news to the family this weekend so I guess they will all be satisfied then!
ETA: My Brother in laws girlfriends sister came.. I had just met her this weekend and she was asking! Seriously?!

OMG people are RIDICULOUS! MYOB! I had a girl continuously call me out at a work function because I wasnt drinking... well I lost the baby days later so there's a reason people dont announce it

Believe me, I feel your pain. My aunt "heard" that I wasn't drinking at a recent party (she wasn't even there!) and has been asking my mom non-stop if I'm pregnant.
And that's part of the reason I told my parents and ILs earlier than I expected...I couldn't come up with any more reasons why I wasn't drinking. Guess they think I'm a lush normally

The no drinking thing is always a dead giveaway! lol people think it's funny to guess these things when the person keeping the secret has been doing just that...keeping the secret!
Same thing happened to me at a wedding. The wife of my husbands frat brother is like...i know why you aren't drinking. your pregnant. And it's like really? I obviously didn't announce it for a reason.
I always watch to see if firends and stuff are drinking...but i'd never ask them..lol

Ugh! The drinking thing wasn't as big of a giveaway for me because I was on fertility meds, and everyone knew that. So , I just used that as an excuse.
But, really, even if people suspect, they just shouldn't say anything! I had a lot of people asking me "are you pg?" when they knew I was trying. That ended up being really painful while we were going thorough IF issues. Ugh, people are crazy!

My MIL told me that someone said they saw me rub my belly... OH COME ON. First of all I barely have something to rub and second.. I was probably just making sure that my unbuttoned and unzipped pants weren't exposed (my shirt kept riding up).. Im not a belly rubber yet so I really feel like these people were looking for ANYTHING.

I know. I actually love keeping this a secret. I really dont want to tell anyone until im on the way to the hospital in december.

It's really funny how much people notice if you don't drink.
Even if you have a good excuse like being the DD or not feeling well, or meds or whatever.
It scares me to think they associated me with booze THAT much that if I go one day without it they wonder. 
Kind of a commentary on my life I guess!
