I live across the street from a cemetary, my neighbors are really quiet

My alive neighbors are really quiet too. A lot of them are older. We are the youngest on our block.

My two next door neighbors and the one across the street are all BEST friends - so needless to say they know everything going on here.

They are VERY nosey - always know what we are up to - but at the same time sometimes its nice (like when we are away)

They are nice though - and mean well...and I like them.

We live in a condo complex and we have a full range of types of people

The neighbor accross the street is very quiet...actually if I didn't see the lights on at night I would think that the house was vacant.

On one side of me the neighbors are very nice...even offered to go half with us on the fence that seperates our yards.

The neighbors on the other side of me a quiet but nosey...I always catch them trying to peak into my windows.

and both neighbors diagnal from me are nice, loud and nosey....if you need neighbor hood gossip you go to them

Next door on the left- very quiet but friendly. But they let their dog run about the neighborhood, which includes crapping on our lawn.

Next door on the right- very friendly, we chat from time to time. They are older with teenaged kids.

Across the street- this is a weird set up- there's a guy about my dad's age, a woman about my age, a few teenagers and a few little kids. The teenagers piss me off because they throw their beer bottles on our lawn.

the neighbors we share walls with keep to themselves and aren't nosey. The ones across the hall are horrible, they have the uncontrollable pit bull and husky. (We arent supposed to have dogs in the building). The skanky teenage daughter play her music obscenely loud whenever she wants.

they seem really nice, although my one set has theis huge piece of land that is more public property (access to a rain run off) and it took him months to mow it....it was at least 6 feet tall!!!!


The other side is a single lady, really nice.

Across the street, a family with 3 girls and another with a boy and a girl.

We live in a cul de sac and there are lots of kids which is great!

I can only describe 6 of my neighbors so far:

I only know a few of my neighbors.
With the exceptions of these people, and the construction going on, it is a pretty quiet building.

The young couple across the the hall seem to be gone a lot, but when they are there the guy likes to sing Christian songs.

The people in the corner have "crazy baby" who likes to run back & forth in the hall.

On the first floor by the mailbox, there is crazy Indian guy, who watches Indian movies really loud & sometimes has "episodes".

On the other side of the first floor is the Mormon Couple. Sister & Elder Slack. THey get a lot of strange visitors & packages.

Then there is Mr. & Mrs. Nosy-body. The maintain thr garden in front of the building & were in with the old super & now have somr how managed to convince the new super to change the lobby paint color & take down the "for rent " sign.
The are very chatty. I hate them.

My upstairs neighbors are the epitome of white trash and they never ever ever EVER leave the house EVER. They vacuum 500 times a day and have no carpets. They are constantly moving their furniture too And make other noises that sound like dropping bowling balls. Whenever we play music they bang on the floor incessantly. I HATE THEM.

Then theres the lady next to us who videotapes everyone as they park their car JUST IN CASE they hit her.

Then theres the guy who stares at me all the time except of course when I am with my DH.

Everyone else is pretty normal.

The couple in the apartment next to ours are very nice people. I know that we can depend on them for anything. They are extremely nosy but in a way that makes us feel very comfortable when we are away or I am home alone. They no who comes and goes and more importantly, who does not belong. I would hate to be on their bad side though!

The ones above us are also very nice, at least he is. However, he has an obsession with his vacuum! He uses it EVERY day. It can be 7am or 10pm and "Jack The Vac" is at it again!

For the most part, everyone keeps to themself (we live in an apartment complex), but our downstairs neighbors are obnoxious. They have a young daughter who they let play basketball in the house. We live upstairs from them and our apartment literally shakes because of this kid. We complained to management and apparently they got the hint to keep it down because they've been holed up in their apartment since last week with not a peep out of them. Let's since how long the peace and quiet lasts!

Across the street is the most nosy, obnoxious weirdo. She's "jealous" of the relationship we have with the neighbor next door to her, she imposes herself on us constantly, and no knows boundaries in terms of what she says or what she does. Recently I had to put her in her place about walking unnanounced (and uninvited) into our home. That didn't go over well.

She also has a tendency to put out the garbage in an oversized tee and nothing else. Imagine the view from our side of the street and she's bending over (minus underwear). She's over 60, overweight, and not attractive. I've almost lost it a couple of times while being exposed to her dried out roast beef! Bob thinks it's funny, I want to puke! I think she's trying to mac on him or tempt him with her goodies, but how do you tactfully tell someone "Can you put some drawers on if you're going to stand there bent over for more than a second AND in broad daylight?!?" I mean for Gods sake, there's a school bus stop right on the corner!
