NON TTC topic
Now that Halloween is around the corner are you and DH have any fun Fall plans?
Ex... pumpkin picking, haunted house, hayrides, apple picking, Halloween parties, decorating the house, etc?
Also asking b/c I want to go get a pumpkin this weekend and I don't know where to go. In NJ where I used to live there's one at every corner!

and as far as plans... we are going to a Halloween Party!! cant wait!

last weekend we did the Haunted Mansion at Schmitt's Farm...that was fun (i didn't go in, but the guys did and liked it a lot).
we may make one more trip up to our fave cider mill in Cooperstown, NY - but not sure when...

Sounds like fun! What are you dressing up as?
We have a friend's Halloween party, but debating on going since it's at a bar and they're only serving alcohol. Good for DH... not for me.
I want to do some baking too and starting to decorate the house

We have no plans yet other than a halloween party on the 31st...I saw a commercial for a really cool haunted house thing in Bayville I think...so I'm going to try & convince my dh & BIL/SIL to go

My sis and our friends are going to the one in bayville this weekend.
As for DH and I....we went last weekend pumpkin picking. We didn't decorate as usual this year, we are trying to redo some things in our home. My mom and I will take a quick road trip in a week or so to check out the fall foliage (upstate). Oh yeah...I think we are heading into the city on Halloween for the parade.

two weeks ago we went upstate w/ our nieces and went pumpkin picking at this farm in Delhi, it was so much fun!!
we wanted to go to the Headless Horseman haunted houses in Ulster Park upstate, but I don't think we're going to be able to go this year.....it's THE best haunted house we've ever been to!! they have so much stuff, you're there for 2-3 hours. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to be scared silly!

We went pumpkin and apple picking upstate last weekend..it was soo much fun. We made apple and pumpkin pies.
We're probably going to a halloween party at the bar on our corner.
I'd like to check out a haunted house or two..but not sure if we'll have some free time this year.

We went pumpkin picking last weekend (weather was gorgeous = busy farm stands and crazy traffic!)
We still have to decorate inside the house. This is DH's favorite holiday and we are so excited b/c this is our first Halloween in the house. We usually go to some type of Haunted House or jack-o-lantern walk. This year we also may throw a small party. Can't wait!
