No more BCP....
Finished my final month of BCP last week...*yippee*
Called my midwife this morning to see what we need to do next and they scheduled a "pre conception appointment"...
Sounds so formal! Any idea what I should expect? I suppose a script for pre natals will be included, but I don't know what else.

I finished mine on Saturday too!!! I went for my Preconception check up in November & they just did the routine stuff. I was given a prescription for prenatals & told to start them in Jan!

Hmm...what do you mean routine? I already had my regular yearly exam this past February, so I don't need that again..?

When I went, I was actually going for my 6month check up....So they did a pap & what not. I am sure they will just discuss things with you & get you started on some prenatals!

They also do blood tests - it's a good idea to have a converstaion with your GYN and let them know you are planning on concieving.
