Next step... This blows!!
So I need to vent, I apologize in advance. I had my f/u appt today w my Ob/gyn about my blood work. I think in my head everything was ok... Until he told me my Lh is so low that I am probably not ovulating on ,y own and if I am it is probably happening every 4 or so months.
He wrote a script for clomid and told me to try that this most and referred me to a RE. I was lucky enough to get an appt for 7/3 which is before my next cycle. I feel like I got smacked w a stack of bricks.
10years ago when I was 23 I got pregnant w DD and needless to say it was a bot if a struggle bing a single parent. Now I finally fall in love and want to share this with someone I find out I can't make it happen on my own... I am angry.
DH and I promised we wouldn't do anything to increase out chances, so if it didn't happen on our own we would be happy just traveling. I am thankful he will go to dr and listen to our options but this blows!
The only positive I found was that my insurance covers everything 100% we will never have an out of pocket cost for IUi or IVF if we for some reason decide to go that route.
So here's my question ladies... Is this common??

I also was not ovulating on my own. i did 3 rounds of clomid in 1 cycle (My RE said my lining was very good) I started on 50 of clomid, then 100, 150 worked for me and I am currently in my 2ww. It took me 43 days to ovulate. I have PCOS and no other known issues according to my RE so clomid with time intercourse was the option the DH and I chose for this month.

Sorry you are going through this- talk to the RE before you make a final decision. There are so many new interventions that can help. I was very against any form of intervention but I have decided that IF it comes to it I am willing to try IUI.

Glad you are both open to listening to your options. Believe it or not, a lot of people have trouble getting pregnant on their own (no help from meds) these days.
