We watched the youtube video last night and we got to put it into action asap. Dh was able to calm her after 5 min of the s' s. Thanks! And today is much better.
Also there is a white noise app for the phone that I used a lot

omg- this was me 2yrs ago! I swear- do a post search! 
I remember learning how to swaddle and did a search on youtube to swaddle and sway them to sleep and then got white noise/heartbeat downloaded to the Itouch!
i hope this is all working out for you. I was a mom already and was crying the 1st month of the twins.

Swaddle doesn't work and we do rock them.
I keep thinking theyrebhungry as well. I know you cant overfeed a newborn but sometimes we feed them 2-3 oz and then they stop asking for it ( by whimpering) so we stop feeding them. Should we keep feeding them till they purse their lips?
Burp them, and then offer more.

I can commiserate-we are going through the same exact thing here. Theres some serious gas issues going on but i also suspect she likes to be heldt. Every 5 to 10 minutes she is up. Except I'm bottle feeding. Ped changed the formula today to nutramigen so we will see how that goes. The only things that helped were bicycling her legs (on occasion), and the rock and play, which I HATE her sleeping in b/c she's too little and so hunched over in it, there's no way it's safe. But we will do a supervised hour or so in it to let her sleep.

Sorry to hear that. I never thought the rnp is too small. My twins are teeny and have been in it since the first night.
Did you watch the happiest baby on the block video? It seems to be working so far (all 24 hours of it lol)

this app was our saviour! i used the vaccum and rain combo!
