newborn becoming extra clingy?
Ds is almost 12 weeks and starting this week he cries to be held by me or mil. He's not sick and he usually was super calm and independent before. Any idea what's going on?

newborn becoming extra clingy?
it's a stage and it lasts.......and then it stops......then comes back........then goes away again. Repeat. 
My doc explained it's like they start to really realize that they aren't attached in the womb anymore, that they are a single body, so to speak... so they crave some extra mama time out of a little anxiety. Not sure if it's true, but it kind of made sense.

It totally makes sense. My mom said maybe hes realizing he doesn't wanna leave the 4th trimester.
