Newbie Here!
Hi everyone, I was on LIWeddings for so long now but finally decided to take the big step and join LIFamilies! We have been married for 2 months and aren't TTC yet but will be looking for an obgyn soon. The whole process is so exciting, as I am sure you all know.Well, just wanted to introduce myself since I have been lurking since we returned from the HM!!

that's a toughie...he kinda has to want to be on board. i had my doubts at first about Dave's 'sincerity' until the first month where i really thought i was - he was as sad as I was....that i wasn't....

DH was a little hesitant for the first 4 years of marriage but today he looked at me and said he was actually excited about having a baby, i am so happy he is excited too. It makes it that much more exciting.

that's sweet that you both were able to share that emotion together, although I am sorry you haven't had your BFP. It's great that you know he is definitely as into it as you are. That's so important.

I had severe baby fever right after we got married (May 2007). I wanted to start TTC right away but DH wanted to wait for our one year anniversary. Now we are both on board and expecting our first child.
I spent many months on this TTC board without TTC because DH wasn't ready to TTC. DH came around; I'm sure your DH will also come around.

Thanks. I am not ready to TTC right away either because I would like to enjoy and make the most of being "just us" a while longer........ but I am taking the first steps by coming on here and I hope to get some good obgyn references!
