New here!!!!!
It's official - I am having a baby! Ahhhh - I am so excited!! It just does not feel real to me!
Anyway I cannot wait to get to know you girls and chat about all things baby!!! Ok so I have a question already...my first dr. appt is at 6 weeks...will I definitely hear/see something that early??? I know most people go at 8 weeks but mine is 6 for some reason! TIA!
PS - I also may change my screen name to something better lol, I made this awhile ago when I thought I had a surprise pregnancy but it was a false alarm!

Congrats and welcome! I had my first appt at 7w1d and we saw the baby and the HB at that time! You should be able to see something then!

congrats! you should be able to see a heartbeat if your dates are accurate and you are at least 6w.

YAAAY! CONGRATS! I was able to see the heartbeat at 6 weeks, but they couldnt hear it yet (at 8 weeks, we could hear it).
Everyone is different though. Your dates could be off a tiny bit too, so dont freak out if you cant see it!

At 6w you might see/hear something or you might not. Some women do and for others 6w is just too early. Awesome if you do, but please don't freak out if you don't. Try to just be patient and look forward to the next time!!

With DS I had my 1st appt at 6w5d and they didn't even do an ultrasound..just did a phsycial examination and had me go for bloodwork. They made me come back at 7w5d and that's when we heard his heartbeat.
I haven't been to the OB yet with this pregnancy, but i should be over 7 weeks at the point I go.

With my first DD I think I went at 7 weeks....this time Doc said I could come 2 weeks after a missed period, which would be 6 weeks...but due to his vacation / my schedule, I am not going until 8 weeks!
