New Car Seat Ease of Use Ratings

Evaluation of Instructions
Vehicle Installation Features
Evaluation of Labels
Securing the Child
NHTSA Ease-of-Use 5-Star Ratings
NHTSA uses a five-star rating system to help consumers evaluate the four basic category ratings:
= Excellent features on this child restraint for this category.
= Above average features on this child restraint for this category.
= Average features on this child restraint for this category.
= Below average features on this child restraint for this category.
= Poor features on this child restraint for this category.
N/A
= Does not contain any features that require a rating.

Britax Regent got 2 stars. That's generous. What a PITA that carseat is. If I hadn't spent $200+ on it, it would be on the side of the road.

Hmm, not sure I agree with their findings. They rated the Britax BLVD and the Graco ComfortSport both with 3 stars. I've installed both these seats and the Britax was hands down much easier to install.
