Nervous ttc
So this is our first month ttc and I'm so anxious/excited to start this new chapter. However every now and then Ill start to get anxiety over the "gettin sick" part of pregancy and how I would handle the nausea and vomiting that may arise at work or the middle of the night for example.
Did anybody else experience this?

Re: Nervous ttc
It happens to many women but not all! I did not have morning sickness with DS. I had some nausea at night but it was bc I was hungry and only threw up once from a hormone induced migraine. Many women deal with the sickness and many opt for zofran which is a great anti-nausea medication. Don't let that that get you scared! You never know how your body will react to pregnancy until you are pregnant! Good luck!

THIS! I know alot of people who only got mild MS or not at all. I'd take that in a heart beat as long as at the end of it all I got to hold my baby in my arms!

i had no MS at all. NONE. i would get some nausea at night but that's about it. every woman reacts differently to every pregnancy, so no need to worry about it before hand!

Don't be scared!!! It's such an exciting time and your body knows what to do and you'll adjust and handle it, no matter what happens!
I had what I thought was bad m/s with my daughter that lasted just over 5 weeks. I'd throw up first thing in the morning (it was a fairly painless process, actually) and then I'd be fine the rest of the day. And the day I turned 14 weeks, it all turned off like a switch and I was fine the whole rest of the time.
This time, I started getting sick much sooner and it lasted much longer. My doctor prescribed zofran which is a miracle drug -- I went from debilitated by the nausea and vomiting to perfectly able to go on about my day!
You keep your eye on the prize, and it all works out!!!
Apparently if you're prone to motion sickness usually (I'm the type who gets sick riding backwards on the train or in the back seat of a car), then you're somewhat more prone to m/s. Since it sounds like you don't get sick all that often now, I definitely wouldn't worry in advance!

Re: Nervous ttc
I am a first time too, and glad to hear I am not the only one nervous about this...I am also nervous about the birthing process.
I have read about a lot of home remedies to the MS. Some people swear by chewing on Fresh ginger, Ginger ale, ginger tea, or raspberry leaf tea. I also had a friend who swore she avoided MS by eating a cracker every hour she didn't have a meal to avoid getting a fully empty stomach. Any other home remedies out there?

I worry about this too and I know ths sounds horrible but part of me figures that maybe if I do get morning sickness I won't eat too much and gain too much weight, however I know how much I love food and I'm sure morning sickness won't get in my way
