Neighbor put no park sign on tree in front of house
Is this even allowed? I saw it and laughed. They never even park on street but they are 90 and have nothing else complain about. I never really park in front of there house but I have had friends do it.

Exactly. My brother went through the town and they installed signs. If my brother calls the precinct a cop can ticket them. They never show up though.

If the NEIGHBOR put them up, they are not valid. If the TOWN put them up you will be ticketed if a cop sees your vehicle there for over an hour.

I'd be tempted to take all of my kids' cozy coupes, big wheels, trikes, etc. and park them in front of the tree... of course after I chained them together, then chain them to the tree

Its not allowed but I personally would respect it. I would only park there if it was a dire emergency and no where else to park. But that's just me.
Maybe since they are elderly, they are disabled or similar, and need easy access to their home.

Ditto...but I may be biased.. they are old and I  old people. I think the sign is kind of cute in a way.

We never really park there unless we are moving cars around and don't have room in front of ours. I know they are old, but no need to be an @ss. I always respected my elders but they don't own the street. Whatever happened to being neighborly like? Seriously. It makes me want Park there even more now just to prove a point. And not for nothing but how about you say something To me Instead of putting up a sign.

Oh I try not to park in front of other people's house but if I visit someone (but that's anywhere from 1 to a few hours top), sometimes I have to. In my street. No, we ALL part in front of our own homes. We don't put our cars in front of our neighbors' windows.

I didnt realize you believe their sign had to do with you and your cars.
Eh honestly I dont blame them. Even though they dont own the street, its always annoying when others around have alot of cars and you dont, but you always have to see cars from your windows. Makes your own home and property feel more congested. I dont fault them honestly but thats just me.

We had an issue with our 85y/o neighbor about parking. I think it's silly to get so upset about cars parking.
