need help quick...weekend getaway
DH and I are looking to get away this weekend with our 25 month DD. Where would be a good place to go that is kid friendly and within driving distance of LI?? We would leave fri and come home sunday. Any idea welcome!!! TIA

need help quick...weekend getaway
We just did this last week, we booked Thursday and left Friday afternoon! We went to Boston, took the ferry into CT and it was only a 3 hour drive. We stayed in Lexington about 20 minutes from Boston - really cute town and found a really nice hotel for a great price. Downtown Boston had lots of things for kids - aquarium etc we had such a good time.

We went last year for 2 nights with our then 1yo. Did seaport, aquarium, peddler's village and lunch/shopping on way home at Mohegan Sun. It was good with the little one and not too far.
