Need Help Finding Italian Restaurants in Nassau for an Event
So far we are having no luck. We need to find an Italian resturant that has a private room to fit 40-50 people for 4 hours. Room decor is a big deal as well and the quantity and quality and food. We are looking in Nassau...any recommendations?

Spumante in East Meadow (where Fukadaya was) ... unfortunate location (in front of the Coliseum Motor Inn) but AWESOME food.
We have our holiday gathering there every year ... this year in the party room upstairs (which I only saw briefly so don't know really about the "decor").

I would HIGHLY recommend Filomena's in Franklin Square. I love the food there. They have a great separate room. I had Bella's Christening there with about 70 people and a few people who came wound up having their own functions there and one used the food for a communion at their house...
I gave them decorations and then they also hung beautiful pink bunting from the ceiling and overall were AWESOME. The Napoleon cake we chose was included in the price was and phenomenal. They have a bunch of different menu choices for different price ranges, but are very flexible.
Ask for Mario, it's family owned and he is the son who is taking over...

Piccolo Buscella on Jericho Tpke has great food and a really nice private room.

There is also one in Oceanside. They can definitely fit that many people in the private room.

Pompei in West Hempstead....My BIL & SIL had their engagement dinner there! Amazing food & nice atmosphere
La Parma in Oceanside...On Merrick Road. They have a private room upstairs & down. They book up quickly though!

Ang look into Sergio's in Massapequa. They just completed renovations and they have a private room. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced.

Altadonna in Great Neck (used to be in Howard Beach, then Mineola, sooo good!)

Our wedding rehearsal was at Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City, and it was wonderful. I went to a wedding shower there as well, and I would definitely recommend it!

Yes go see Mike @ Sergio's! Their food is amazing & they do private parties...We had my cousin's bridal shower & baby shower there!!!
