Need creative girls for centerpiece ideas
I'm having a firehouse theme for DS's 1st birthday in less than 3 weeks! I'm not allowed to hang anything on the walls so our only decorations are the tables. We will have balloons on each table, but i'd like some time of centerpiece decoration.
i was thinking of getting a plastic firemans hat and poking a hole for the balloons to go through. any other suggestions?
also...the tablecloths will be red, so i'll need other colors.

Re: Need creative girls for centerpiece ideas
You could tie them to these Fireman rain boots
Maybe to fire truck toys or stuffed dalmations, but then the kids are going to want to play with them

I like this idea! You can get red or black hats. Maybe you can find (or even make yourself) dalmation pattern table runners? (white with black spots)

Re: Need creative girls for centerpiece ideas
What about red and black jelly beans in a bowl or glass centerpiece, and then doing a firetruck balloon surrounded by latex balloons, and you can switch it up from firetruck, to fireman, to fire hydrant. IDK food for thought

Re: Need creative girls for centerpiece ideas
I would have the center balloon be one of those foil fire truck balloons like this one:
and then surround it with red, yellow, and orange regular latex balloons (at a bit of a lower height). You can use a plastic fire hat as the weight like you said or a fire hydrant.
I also saw this online and thought it was so cute! I love the idea of using a twisty balloon to make a firehose:
As for colors, I would say red, orange, yellow, and black.

Re: Need creative girls for centerpiece ideas
Are you doing favors? You could do a cookie bouquet at each table with fire truck themed cookies. Kills 2 birds with one stone.
Like this but with fire truck, fire hydrant, helmets and even a flame cookie.
