NCL Cruise Disney Shore Excursion
We booked a cruise for June with NCL. It stops at Orlando (Port Canaveral) from 1pm-8pm. One of the shore excursions is to Magic Kingdom, but it is $$$. Has anyone done this before? Is it worth it? I would just go to Disney on our own, but I am worried about missing the boat.

Waste of a day and money, I wouldn't bother! It takes an hour to get there, so you are at 2pm...and not enough time to do anything really. Especially when you are walking into an already crowded theme park mid day

Agree
However, we did go to Universal when we were on an NCL cruise that stopped at the same port

Re: NCL Cruise Disney Shore Excursion
We did it once on Carnival. The hours were earlier and we left at about 5 (so we were on the boat before 8... maybe for dinner). It was about to rain and so we felt very lucky!
It was one of our first times at Disney, kids were free, bus was $$$ (we paid for 2 adults and one kid for bus, but only 2 adults at Disney), but we did have a GREAT time. DD was 1, DS was 2.5. We did it without a stroller. As our kids were little, we did maybe 5-6 rides, a Mickey greet and lunch... and it was off peak season... but I thought it was a wonderful first experience!
Yes, I'd be too scared to miss the boat to go solo!

Went to the Disney water park instead. There's nothing else there. Last time I went I decided to just go to the beach which wasn't great at all. Opt for a less popular theme park so you have less time waiting for rides
