My turn to ask for advice - BD schedule??
I need advice on a BD schedule. We typically would BD every day between now (CD10) and O (CD13). (DH's SA came back normal, so lowering the swimmer count isn't an issue). But six months of that w/o a bfp has made me cynical. Should we do it less? more? I'm open to suggestions!

Are you positive that you O on CD 13? If you are then I would BD CD10-CD16....just for good measure!

Re: My turn to ask for advice - BD schedule??
Do you use OPK's or do you temp to help give you a better idea of when you might O?
I would think that if you know the week you are fertile try and BD as much as you can.
My plan for this month was to BD on CD11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 b/c I was looking at last months temps and it said I O'd on CD14 so I assumed if I BD'd all those days that would cover it.
Unfortunetly I think I O'd earlier than that and only got to BD on CD11 and hoping DH gets home soon so I can add CD13

Re: My turn to ask for advice - BD schedule??
I temp to confirm O, and I've used OPKs in the past. I consistently get a on CD12, and O on CD13 like clockwork.
My instinct says to BD once a day until I've confirmed O, but after 6 cycles of BFNs, I'm starting to wonder if that's the best way to go...

Maybe just BD on CD 14 just for good measure and to make you feel like you are trying something new, ya know????

I would BD on CD10, 12, 13 and 14 - you are most fertile the day before, the day of O and the day after.
With me, I usually O on day 14, 15 or 16 so we BD on cd 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17 - I like to get in as many days as possible but don't want to overdo it with BDing every single day for a week.

Re: My turn to ask for advice - BD schedule??
I usually BD every other day leading up to positive OPK, then once I get the positive I BD 3 days in a row (mind you, I've never been pregnant either ). So since you would normally get a positive on CD12, I'd be sure to BD 12, 13, and 14. Or, like Olliesmama said, stick to your usual plan and add CD14, just in case.

Re: My turn to ask for advice - BD schedule??
I'm still trying to figure out if we've been doing the right thing also My acupuncturist told me not to BD for at least 5 days before the day I get the LH surge ( unfortunately I don't always ovulate on the same day so it's hard for me to be exact on this ). I know that everything you read online says to keep the sperm fresh all the time, but we tried the every other day routine for a while and it didn't work, so I figured I'd take his advice since he has a good reputation So, he said after the 5 day abstinence to have sex on the day of the surge and for 2 days after that. Then, no BD for 5 days (I guess 5 is the magic number ) so you don't "disturb" anything, and after that you can BD all that you want We've been trying this approach for 4 months now... but nothing yet

Re: My turn to ask for advice - BD schedule??
DH and I did CD 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, and 21 this month. We'll see if it worked soon enough. It wouldn't hurt to try every other day from the last day of AF through O and the day after.
