not only is he hot...but he LOVES LITERATURE...how many sonwriters nod to Faust in their songs...
And Nabakov!
and Chaucer...
Well the man DID say that he was a teacher in a convent before the whole Police "gig". Imagine being the only male teacher/person in a school and looking like that having teenaged girls swoon at you all the time? I couldn't handle having a teacher that looked like that. Then again he is a lot more attractive now than he was 25+ years ago.

did you read his autoB...Broken music.
I am almost positive he worked at an all boys school LOL...but I think one of the nuns did fancy him.
he has such a gift for prose. I loved this book.
I can mail it to you if you are ever interested. it was a great read.
it ends just before the Police take off.

Re: My take on tonight's Police concert...
I saw them exactly a year ago at the start of this tour in MSG and I thought they seemed really tired last night at the beginning. I guess 12 months touring can get the best of anyone. Jones Beach is definitely a different venue - you don't get the same energy as MSG but I preferred the arrangement of the songs last night.
I was out of my seat by the first encore. I actually think the encores made the show. And when Sting came out for the 2nd encore, I couldn't help but scream
Stuart Copeland has such stamina but Andy Summers looked like an old lady in his flowery blouse

Re: My take on tonight's Police concert...
I will say that Sting was HOT!!! (and I loved the grayed beard!) - I thought he looked much better last night, with the beard, than in October. But Stewart Copeland TOTALLY stole the show!!! Holy Cow he is good. Not only the fantastic Ring Around My Finger Percussion God that he is, but everytime you looked at him he was beating away, like there was no tomorrow! and that Sting tried to take his shirt off - they were just having a great time!
I knew the show was a bit slow going in (from the Oct show), so I think I was able to appreciate the more relaxed feeling! But where did Purple Haze come from! That was a great surprise! I'm sorry to say that Andy is just not the guitar soloist - he's a great rhythm guy, but his solos were a bit flat for me.
I loved that Sting came out to Allison and that all three were there during Peace, Love and Understanding (my personal favorite Elvis song)
