Do you walk thru the master bathroom to get to the master bedrom? I think I see your dining area with the door open. If so, very unique floor plan.

I have the same mirror, I hated it so I bought wood flat molding and painted it and framed out the mirror, it came out great and changed the whole mirror for me.

Nope. My master bath is inside my master bedroom. The layout is hard to explain - I do have a very strange floorplan though - at least I think I do 
My master is off my dining/living room.
This is looking into my bedroom from the dining area, my couch is to the right and my foyer and kitchen are to the left.
This is looking out from my master bathroom back into the dining/living room. You can see my couch. I picked the bathroom paint color based on what I thought it would look like from this view.

If it weren't for all the forums, blogs & pictures I found online of what other people have done in their homes I probably wouldn't have had the guts (or been able to convince DH) that we could do this...so I hope I am helping in some way by sharing.

We have been toying with this idea. It would def be cheaper than taking the mirror down and buying two seperate mirrors plus I think it would make a huge difference.
How did you attach the molding? With glue?
