My lil man passed
I wasnt going to post this but the end of the story has a happy outcome ..
I had a loyal shih tsu for 10 years, lil guy followed me every where I went. I got him when my parents first spilt up , he was like my lil therapy . Helped me thru that really hard time for me .. His name was Rocky , ( jezz as I type "his name was" Im startign to get upset again  ..
Anywhere i went he was my shadow. He adjusted to any environment i placed him in ,( moving a few times etc) as long as i was there he was content.. The min my foot would hit the floor he would watch to see my next step & follow me . Unfortunately that was alos his dimise (sp)
Day after xmas we went to see my dad. I always took him whereever we went, god he was paper trained , as I didnt even want him out much , so he would stay clean LOL ..
Neways , got home , he was on my lap in the truck & DH was driving..
I jumped out & was gettign ready to pick him up , as he NEVER would jump from the seats of cars, he was too little . Beofre I could grab him , he jumped .
He basically landed paws spread on his belly  but , was ok, . He walked on over to the curb did his businees & I picked him up & in we went..
He was pretty much a creature of habit , would come home go in his bed , which was next to my side of the bed & then wait for me to come in & then scratch on the bed to come up. Which is how the nite went. I was laying in bed with him reading the directions to my new camera I got & about 2 hours passed & he was fast asleep..
next min I know he wakes up , chocking, grasping for air, yelping, like he was having some kinda seizure. Called DH he ran in & pretty much gave the dog cpr & we rushed out to th animal hospital . They took him in & put him on oxygen & pretty much said he should be ok the next day to which I would pick him up & take him to vet . Well next day he wasnt, & the dr woulnt let me take him. He wasnt breathing well on his own without being given oxygen , yet his heart , liver, lungs , blood , EVERYTHING was ok with him , They ran every imaginaable test under the sun to find out why this was.
Long short , 3 days passed & he was getting worse, they administered antibotics, drugs , etc to help & he was just getting worse & worse fast..
Sunday they called me back after i just left to say I had better come back as he was having his episodes , as they were calling them, again..
I just knew
Went with my dh & dad. They had him out for me to see him on the table, wiht the oxygen tube attached & I spent time with him talking to him , saying sorry . I could even get him to open his eyes & look at me , So sad. I looked at the dr & was like he is suffering huh? He just could breath without the oxygen, I told him , "love ya rock" & walked away , as I did lil guy lifted his head opened his eyes & turned to look for me , Ughhhh..
They tried one more procedure because that was like hope , but it didnt help..
RIP. Rocky My Best Bud..
Now onto the better kinda news.. I was home for the past 2 weeks, My job shuts down for the holidays.. DH My mom & DH felt it would help me & low & behold , I have a 2 month old lil puppy,,, Does he replace Rocky , never in a million years, but its helping me get thru.. At first I wasnt sure how to feel, but My life trully did revolve around Rocky. & my soul & heart will alwyas have a place for him, This lil guy is def helping , . Did i think it was too soon, um yea.. But he is just the best lil thing..
So thats my terrible yet happy ending story.. Sorry was so long..

OMG I am SO sorry about your little Rocky BUt I'm thrilled you have your little Meatlball now, losing a pet is SO hard... Happy new year to you and Meatball!!!

People who dont have pets, just dont understand its like losing a person..
Very heartwrenching..
Sorry for all the spelling errors...
Etd to say , if you notice the picture of my new pup, in the backround there is a whole in the wall, that wasnt done by violence, lol , after i left the vet hospital with rocky i was so upset , i punched the wall. didnt even notice that the pic shows that .. Wanted to clarify that
