great card, great idea taking them to fortunoffs. my mil told me to do the same exact thing the other day, and dh looked at her like she was crazy, LOL. now i can tel him other people do the same exact thing.

I tell ya...there were a LOT of people doing this. That's where I got the idea from. The photo places are just sooooooo crazy this time of the year. I can't wait for over 2 hours to take pics then expect my boys to smile and be happy when they are miserable.
Go to Fortunoff's. It's GORGEOUS....better than any backdrops at the photo places. You can take a million pics and do it at your own pace.
I HIGHLY recommend it!!

See...that's what I thought as well. Trust me...it's not easy getting my 2 boys to sit for more than 20 seconds either. But the little one was so intigued with all the lights and sights that he was actually almost frozen solid. And the older one felt like he was a celebrity because everyone was coming over to us and saying how cute they were! He felt like a superstar! 
Try it. If it doesn't work out, you can always head over to the photo places!

I went to the basement of Fortunoff's (in Westbury) where they have their Christmas displays.
No, the workers didn't say a thing. A LOT of people take their pics there. And actually, a few workers came by to ask if they could take the pic for us of the whole family.

That was what the whole thread was about!
I brought the kids to Fortunoff's, stuck them in the displays, and snapped away.
Then I ordered the cards through Snapfish.
Quick, easy and no wait in the photo places!!
