thanks ladies.
since my shower will be in the summer my ils were hoping for something that has an outdoor are. not sure how i feel about that since i went to a shower once outdoors and got sick from the heat. i suggested something by the water or something that has an indoor/outdoor combo. crabtreee would have been perfect but i had my bridal shower there.
in the end all i really care about is that my guest are comfy with good food. oh and that i get my theme 
keep em coming

Check out Freeport then. I can't remeber the name of the restaurant, but I had my bridal shower there in June and we were inside, but they have an outside area to hang out. I wouldn't want an outdoor shower during the summer being 7 or 8 months pregnant, you're hot enough in the a/c opening gifts as it is!

my baby shower was in gino's trattoria on bell blvd/35th ave in bayside its called trattoria thirty-five now but it had a nice size room which had a small room off that for gifts and had access to an outdoor terrace with tables so its an indoor/outdoor.....great food only minus was the air conditioning wasn't great but they had a lot of renovations done since so you would have to see....good luck =)
