my head cant take it I need advice

I need help to see if there is anything I can do to get my child out of crying from the minute she wakes up. She has been like this for as long as I remember waking with cries to come out of the crib. She was never a kid that woke up and played in the crib. So lately its just gotten worse where she is screaming at the top of her lungs at 5:30 for us to come get her and when we do, everything after that is spoken thru a cry. if shes thirsty, wants to be covered, needs a tissue, etc. The other day it was to the point of being unbearable it just didnt stop for 2 hrs.

Please tell me that there is a way to break her from this? Or is my child destined to never be cheery or just calm in the mornings. I cant be the only one that has a child like this. Otherwise after 9am shes a normal kid.

Thanks

My DS is cranky/crabby 99% of most mornings. He has never just played in his bed. He gets up just like his father...LOL. Wines a munch and cries over certain things.

My ds was still like that until last month ( he's a little over 2.5 years old). He was always cranky after wakingup in the morning or a nap. Unfortunately nothing I did helped, so eventually I just stopped. I think the reason its change is because he is older now.

Have you tried cuddle time? Dd is like me doesn't like to be abruptly woken and hates bright lights when first awoken. We get up, no lights on, I make bottle then we cuddle in bed while she has her bottle before the start of our day. When Dh is home during the week he'll forget and throw on a light and her and I are both grumps till we get situated. Dd and I don't even really talk till after the bottle. She's 18 months and I've done this routine for a long time now.

DS1 was like that. Never woke happy. Took his naps away bc it took too long to get him out of his funk. He didn't get better till 4.5. Almost 5 if I remember bc I had to bribe him. Now at 5.5 he is soooo much better. DS2 has always woken up happy. It is a dream. My boys are 5 and 3 and I still only keep the monitor on my 5 yr old bc if he does by change get up in the middle of the night I have to get in their fast to get him right back to bed. Don't even watch my other DS bc he's much more independent.

My niece was that way (also waking up from naps) and she suddenly grew out it shortly before turning 4. I know it is very hard to deal with, so good luck.

Oh my for the cuddling it depends on the minute literally shes hot/cold and can flip at a moments notice. I try to ignore the crying and for months we say "no crying in the morning" but its just her thing DD2 could be playing in her crib for an hour if shes got something to play with. And if I wake her up she doesnt make a peep no cries. I even got the OK to wake clock to see if maybe she was waking up too early and thats what was making her cranky. I hope this gets better.

Re: my head cant take it I need advice

This was my DS until 17 months I switched him to a toddler bed and now he's a totally different baby... Wakes and can roam about his room or play or wake us up if he needs something the crib was confining him too much for his liking apparently. When he was younger I just put baby gate at his door so he didn't wander around the house now that he's 27 months I leave it off ... Now he's 99% of the time a happy AM kid

(His room is totally strapped down/baby proofed)
