My good eater is not so good anymore...Is it just a stage?
Molly used to be so good about eating everything I gave her. Recently, she has started to become very picky and won't even try things. I can give her chicken or steak and she just pushes it out of her mouth with her tongue. All she wants to eat is pasta! She is still very good about eating her fruits and some veggies but I don't think she's getting enough protein with just that and I'm not making her pasta every night.
Any suggestions?

Yes. Make her pasta every night.
Nothing wrong with that.

I hope it's a stage but we had the same thing with Joseph & he never went back to being a good eater (unless it's carbs).
Keep offering is the only suggestion I have.

We are going through the same thing right now. I'm hoping it's a phase. Ryan will not eat veggies.

Carlie was, and still is, the same way. She was such a good eater till about 15 months. Then is all went down hill. About 7 months later I am still waiting for her to start eating again . Godd Luck!

I think it's ok for her to go through this phase. There are ways you can "trick" her into getting more protein though. Make a meatsauce for pasta. Make chicken soup with noodles.

Matthew is going through this. Could it be teething?? Maybe eating some foods hurt, so that is why she wants pasta?? It might be easier for her to eat it.

Megan is the same but worse!
Like Molly, one of the ONLY things she will eat is macaroni! She will also eat a slice of cheese whenever I give it to her.
But everything she used to eat, chicken, hamburger, egg...she wants no part of it at all!
My biggest problem is she wont eat any real fruit. I still give her the baby jars just to get it into her. She wont even eat a banana! It drives me nuts! Hopefully she will get over it soon!

Re: My good eater is not so good anymore...Is it just a stage?
I feel your pain and I know how frustrating it is. I just keep offering Parker different things and sometimes she eats and sometimes she doesn't. I taught her the sign for hungry and I don't feed her until she signs it back to me. That has made a huge difference and at least for me I know she is truly hungry. She will still pick one thing to not eat off her plate every time.

When Ryan began eating baby food, he ate everything, even the gross meats. He then changed and became very picky and still to this day, goes through stages of eating really good, and being picky.
