My baby boy is here!!! (with birth story)
Dylan Christopher was born on June 2, 2010 at 4:37 pm via C-section.
He was 9 lbs 5 oz  and 21 inches!
I had to be induced because he did not want to come out. So that's what happened at 41w1d. I went in on June 1 at around 6:00 pm. Unfortunately, he was putting pressure on his umbilical cord which resulted in his heart rate dipping repeatedly.
At the start of "labor" (before induction meds were even given I was 1 cm and 90% effaced) they thought I'd wind up with a C-section but gave me the choice to try on my own regardless. Still, they gave me an epidural pretty early on just in case.
So it's safe to say that I did not ever actually feel even one contraction! Not the sharp painful ones anyway! Which I am really not complaining about. 
Anyway they attempted Cervadil. I made it about 4 hours before his heartrate was seriously affected by the meds and they decided to remove it. I was progressively dilating but he was not dropping at all. Waited a few more hours for my doctor to come in and they tried pitocin. The pitocin also affected the baby's heartrate; making it more difficult to recover after each contraction. They held off on it for awhile and tried again but baby still wasn't dropping.
Finally around 4:00pm on June 2, my doctor felt that I could keep trying pitocin and letting the labor drag on for several more hours (we had already hit 20) or I could go for the c-section. I was terrified because I SO did not want one but agreed because the baby's health meant more to me than my fears.
And shortly thereafter I had my baby! In the end it worked out for the best because of his size and the fact that he was sunny side up, it would've been a painful experience if it went vaginally. 4 days in the hospital was more than enough for me! Even though I was blessed to have my own room thanks to FIL who works at and has connections at NSUH! Made the embarrassing aspects of recovery a lot easier to bear!
Happy to be home, exhausted beyond belief but love that little boy to death!

He is so adorable  Congrats, and can your FIL say he is my FIL and get me a private room for around end of July, beginning of August!!! LOL HAHA I'm delivering there too! LOL
