Mucinex, Robotussin Preseed ???
Im out this month again and I did the search on CM and wonder if anyone can tell me that if you use Pre-seed can you also use mucinex or is that too much?
I dont want to overdue it but I am thinking that may be my problem.
Another Month that I am out. I will try anything else, even if that means standing on my head singing Im a yankee doodle dandy.
:) seriously trying to be positive but really just down.

Preseed has nothing to do with CM.
It is not a substitiute for CM. It will not make you CM better.
Preseed is a safe lubricant that makes it easier to BD without the use of saliva (which could potentially kill spermies) or dangerous lubricants.
So yes, you can do both and be fine.

Actually, Preseed has everything to do with CM. It is meant to mimic cervical mucus and provide a sperm friendly medium to help transport the sperm to where it needs to go. So in effect, it actually does help to make your CM better at the moment you are using the Preseed.

I believe I lack EWCM which helps sperm along to the egg and from what some girls here said and from what I researched pre-seed acts like EWCM. It it something you need to insert inside you (comes with an applicator) as well has externally if you chose to... I just got mine in the mail and we shall see how it works!

I agree with the above - Preseed IS a lubricant, but it is also made to act like semen so that when you BD, the sperm have a viable means of getting to your egg. Without CM, sperm will die within a couple of hours and Preseed is said to allow them to live longer and get to where they want to go.
The Robitussin or Mucinex will help to loosen/thin out YOUR CM which will make it more hospitable to your sperm (they cannot travel through thick/sticky CM).

I had an IUI but we also BD a gazillion times that week WITH Preseed and something worked!!

I used preseed this last cycle and I took Robitussin. Close to O I forgot to take the robitussin on a couple of doses but everytime we BD-ed I used preseed. I also drank a glass of grapefruit juice everyday. And I got a BFP.
