I think from AF to when you O. You don't want to take it after conception, so as soon as you get a positive OPK, I'd stop taking it.

I used to take mucinex as I was approaching O. I would take one during the afternoon and another when I got home from work. But you should stop once your get your positive OPK.
If you are having CM issues, you should also try grapefruit juice and green tea. I have always found them to be more helfpul than mucinex or robitussin, but that's just me.
