That is really annoying Sorry you had to deal with that on Mother's Day. But, I must say, I've only been there once, and it was a Monday night for the psychic night....and we all thought the food was really good, and the service was good too! Totally different when it's not a holiday though!

OMG!!! We were there too - 10:30 reservation in the Victorian Room and they didn't seat us until 10:50. We had 19 people and made the reservation weeks ago. Someone else was complaining because their DC needed a high chair and they said they didn't have one. We heard at least four different people complaining to the staff while we were there (we were sitting right next to the bar). I was very disappointed because all I've ever heard is rave reviews about them. All I can think is maybe they know how to run a small place (the original) and don't know how to run the large, expanded space. My DH said we're never going there again. Very disappointing.
that might have been us! We had a 10:30 reservation and they told us they were waiting for a table and there were like 10 open tables ! They told us their highchairs were across the street at the restaurant and that they would check and bring one over for us and we never heard back so I finally asked and they said " oh ya, we don't have one" . The hostess was such a b!tch! She didn't crack a smile and was not helpful at all! I cant' believe they had ONE guy working the omelette station! They didn't even have plain eggs, if you didn't want an omelette. The places was beautiful though. I've been to the restaurant and really liked it so I was disapointed. MIL seems to enjoy herself so that's what matters, I guess.
It probably was you! We were sitting right in the middle of the restaurant - a big group - right between you and the bar. And we asked the omelette guy to make scrambled eggs for DS (he did). We were very disappointed also but I guess what's important is that we were all together for Mother's Day.

I'm shocked... I've never heard bad reviews. Sorry your day started out poorly
