Most you ever spent on.....
What's the most you ever spent on shampoo, etc.??
I just bought Kenra shampoo and conditioner for $30. I was floored and plan on hiding that tip bit from DH forever. But I have the Keratin treatment in my hair so I need the sulfate free stuff..but $17 a bottle.
Add yours.

I used to buy the Arctec Kiwi which is about the same I think. But then I got divorced from 1st DH and became a "coupon clean" shampoo gal. Now that money isn't so tight, I still buy cheap, but I would totally buy the Body Luxe shampoo if I just let myself...

if i love the shampoo/conditioner i will spend as much as $20 per bottle. i have not done that lately though.
i'm using now either pantene, aussie or salon selectives. trying to be "good" and not spend as much money shopping but i find it really hard

I live V05 shampoo. It's cheap and works best for my hair.
I used to buy $20+ shampoo at the hairdresser in the City.

I have the Coppola Keretian treatment and there is a special shampoo - $21 for conditioner and $20 for the shampoo - but my hair feels amazing after so i dont mind spending the $$$

I swear by Matrix shampoos and condition - especially their sleek line. I think it's about $15-$20 a bottle.

I use Aveda so it's pretty expensive but it really helps with my somewhat damaged hair from highlights. The small bottle is $34 but i buy the bigger bottle on ebay and I get it much cheaper then I would at the salon or the aveda store.

I have the Keratin treatment too ... my my cousin owns a hair salon so I get what I need for free thank god. That stuff is soo expensive.
ETA: I love the Tigi S Factor Sulfate Free Shampoo alot. Not that I think it's cheaper, just thought I'd throw out another brand you may like to try one day :)

Bumble & Bumble was $30 for shampoo, and the same for conditioner.
I was shocked when the lady rang it up, but bought it anyway.
I just finished the bottles, and I didn't really like it.
Back to the cheap stuff for me

Just FYI- the Organix line (available at Target, Stop and Shop and CVS) is Sulfate free and about $6.50

Ditto. They are smallish bottles and travel really well so i used them when i was traveling a lot for business this year.

In the past I think I've spent as much as $30 on a bottle. Now, for $30 it better wash my hair by itself and give me a blow out aftewards!

I spend a lot on shampoo & conditioner, probably around $50 for the two on average. I do keep some cheaper stuff (Dove or Nutragena) in the shower too and use that once or twice a week when I am just staying in. I definitely see a difference though in my hair btwn the expensive stuff and some of the cheap stuff.

Hnmmmm, I've used $40 a bottle shampoo and I've used Suave ........SO I wouldn't say it HAS to be over $10 or I won't use it !!

I'll use anything from Suave to Bed Head... Right now, I have Mario Bedescu in my shower... the shampoo was $16 and the conditioner was $8. Worth every penny!

I buy the same - the sulfate free Kenra...it's only for me, so I don't care andit lasts awhile.

Most expensive is probably kerastase or KMS for me. I usually buy from the salons so it usually ends up being more than $10. But I also usually have a cheaper brand in the shower to use a couple times a week.

I now buy shampoo and conditioner that costs between $20-$26/bottle.
I've tried every shampoo there is. Pantene, V05, Suave, Loreal, Aussie, Citri-shine, Mane and Tail, Neutrogena, John Frieda, Garnier, EVERY SINGLE one.
Now I'm trying all the expenisve stuff. I've tried Wen, Philosophy, Biolage and Pureology so far, now I'm on Nexxus. I will NOT stop until I find a favorite shampoo.
My hair is shoulder length, higlighted, I don't use any styling products, it's very fine and it's SO frizzy.
I want to find a shampoo/conditioner that will make my hair soft, shiny, and lovely.
