Mortgage Rate Comparisons

Did anyone do a good comparison of rates? I am between Wells Fargo, Chase, and Continental. I need a jumbo loan but I am putting 20% down.

Re: Mortgage Rate Comparisons

I think you are better off talking to each lender about your personal circumstances to see what rates you qualify for, rather just doing a general comparison.

I know that the rates fluctuate all the time, so obviously what you are quoted today may not be what you will get when you lock. Plus, what rate you can get will vary based on your credit, debt-to-income, and other factors, and some lenders may be stricter than others with what they offer.

We have a mortgage partner that we work with, and he will always give us the current rates, but always makes clear that this doesn't mean that a particular customer will qualify for those lowest rates. All of the banks you are considering should be able to give you an idea of what they could offer you, so that way you can compare with the most accurate info.
