Confused...Did they cut the mortgage rate provision from the Stimulus Act?
I was going over the Stimulus Act website and I didn't see any mention of a bank bailout/gov. backed lowering of mortgage rates. Has anyone heard anything about that?

I heard about it prior to it going to its final vote but I didn't hear that it was eliminated from the act.

My understanding is that they are addressing this separately? Sort of like with the banks, there will be something specific to address housing and the mortgage situation...not sure if this is correct
