Well, Jack is 11 months...but the size of a 2yr old lol - right now I have in the inflatable tub - in our tub. It works good and I can see using it for awhile.

What do you bathe her in now?

Since about 7 months old - DD has been in the bathtub, with nothing else.
Just her and her toys

Thomas is 13 months and we've been using the regular bath tub for a couple of months now.

He has some bath tub toys he plays with and he loves this Little Tikes bath tub basketball thing that suctions onto the tub!

He does try and crawl around and stand, so I have to have a hand on him at all times!

Really? You are gutsy lol. I'm still scared he's going to hit his head on the tub. I'm a wimp though! Chat Icon Chat Icon

14 months old. At 12.5 months they no longer fit laying down in the kitchen sink so up to the tub we went.

Just the tub (with both in at the same timeChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon ). No seats. They've been pretty good.

I know they love it but it's a big job for me and DH so I get it over with as fast as possible.

I rinse their hair with an empty Trader Joe's yogurt containerChat Icon That's our fanciest accessory.

As far as toys, they love cups and to just splash each other.

Dont laugh, ........ok, well it was the sink cause she was little and it was so much easier for me.

I still have one of those baby bath the ones with a sling to put baby in,removed that and I fill it and she splashes away and what not but I think she has totally outgrown that too.

Re: Moms of 12months +: what you use for bath?

DS has been in the regular bathtub since around 10 months. I never bought a bathseat or anything special. I bought these little fish from BBB that stick to the floor of the tub so he doesnt slip and a bunch of bath toys.

Re: Moms of 12months +: what you use for bath?

I have one of those inflatable toddler tubs. He likes it, it give him plenty of room to play and it gives me piece of mind with the cushioning cause he's all over the place and he's gone down on it faster than I ever would have been able to catch him. Assuming he doesn't grow like a weed, I'll probably get the stickies for the tub floor for him for christmas.

Oh it wasn't me - it was my DH that made the decision, and since he is the one that gives her baths, that is what he did

She loves it and always have.
Yes, she has slipped, but he is right there, she never hit her head or anything. She is our little swimmer in there now Chat Icon

Cailen has been completely loose in the tub since 10 months old. I use a rubber mat so he doesn't slip. I use whatever baby wash is on sale

Really? How do you do that - you just hold him? My cousin does that....I tried it once and it was up there with one of the scariest things I ever did in my life. He's so heavy and I didn't have a good grip on him at all since he kept slipping.

My cousin has a seat connected to her tub so that's how she did it.

Well, we both have to be home to do it. So that we can do a handoff to the other person when he is done.

It isn't that hard, but then again, Christopher is a scardy cat and hangs on to me for dear lifeChat Icon

Just in the tub, nothing else.

My youngest was in the regular tub at 6 months on a towel, my oldest in the regular tub at 10 months.
Easiest and best way for us!

Re: Moms of 12months +: what you use for bath?

both of my kids went into the tub around 10.5 months.

a non-slip pad is a must - those tiny bums slide easy!

With the first it wasn't too hard, since I could regulate the water, but now I do both in the tub at the same time and the older one wants the water to be higher. SO the little guy gets a quick bath and the older guy plays while I'm drying and dressing the baby.

As for toys, they like:
foam cars and roads and the little people zoo animals the best to play with.

DS has been in the tub since about 11 or 12 months.
I use a non slip mat.

A "Rinse" cup

and lots of ducks, turtles, and I read a book to him "Water Water Everywhere".

As for washing him, I use Aveeno Shampoo & Body Wash in One.

I use this little bath bucket to rinse DS hair or I turn on the overhead. He likes the water spraying on him.
