Re: Mommy and Me Yoga
That's actually a perfect age to start, I started when DS was around 18 months (in Mommy & Toddler) and wish we had done the infant course. Those kids can do downward dogs and tree poses like nobody's business!!!! I'm in Queens so no recommendation for your area but I love our yoga class, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as well!!!

Re: Mommy and Me Yoga
I know most places that do Mommy and Me yoga ask that the babies are "pre-crawlers." I started it with my son at 4 weeks old and only stopped because I went back to work and it was during the day. It is so so so great though- I highly recommend it!! We loved it! The place I went to is in Massapequa though, not too close to GC. Let me know if you want more info about it tho.

This is same as my place - they only go up to crawling age.

My pediatrician offers yoga classes in her office in Mineola. They are run by a woman named Doreen. Here's her website with the schedule of classes: http://www.delightflo.com/yoga.html
