Mommy and Me with separation ?
Can anyone recommend a Mommy and Me in the Melville area that works on separation? I want to try taking my 2 year old this Fall to help get her ready for nursery school.
I'm willing to travel a bit for a good place.

YMCA in Huntington has this. I believe the parents leave the last 15 minutes or so of class. I've been taking DD to classes there since she's 7 months (now 2.5). We just started total separation classes (45 min w/o parent) and I kind of wish I did the partial separation first because she's having a hard time with it.

Little Lights Christian Preschool - it is in East Northport, and the mommy and me has NO religion element. We just did it this past school year (he is in the next class in Sept). In the fall you are with your child and after winter break you are separated. It helped DS out so much! And his teacher was great.
