i think theyre really cute, and i kinda think imo that "TIME OUT" shouldnt be a mean punishment thing, it should be a serious reminder of being removed from a situation that isnt supposed to be going on..
i kinda feel like the nose against the wall thing is demeaning to a kid kinda like a puppys nose in poop lol...
my ds usually just needed to be removed from the situation and reminded to "think about" how he was behaving..
i think the fact that the chair says this, "time out" is kinda reminding them what they need to do there!!
good call, im gonna see if i can find one for my future lil "hand on her hips" girl

Summer - you won't believe it - that's the chair (I didn't think to call it a bench) I have in Jack's room - only thing is -- my mother got it at Fortunoff's for ALOT more money!

DD gets sent to her room and sits on a crate of clothes!! It's funny I just say
"go to your room until you are ready to say sorry" and she sits on that crate. She made her own Time Out seat.
One day I forgot I sent her and she sat there in the dark for a long time before yelling "mommy I'm sworry" I felt so bad
