Mommies of twins...
I just love twins. I don't have twins in my family but DH does. Not sure if I can have twins but for those that have twins do they look like? How are their personalities? Do you dress them the same? Purely curious bc I think having twins is soo cool!

I have boy/girl twins.
They are very different. They look different and have their own personalities.
I don't dress them similar although sometimes without realizing I pick out the same color for them.

Mommies of twins...
I also have b/g twins they have similar features but do not look alike.
My daughter is much more daring and defiant my son will cuddle and let me baby him still.
I usually dress tem differently unless I coordinate colors for a special occasion.

I have fraternal G/G twins. They have similar facial structures but look totally different in hair, eye, skin tone. If one of us has one sleeping we sometimes mistake them for the other. Their personalities are different too. One is shy and the other is a ham. I dress them the same because its cute and its just easier.

Identical Girl Twins
I do not dress them the same... EVER. They are so identical that MrDrMatt has the occasional difficulty in telling them apart. They often cough/sneeze at the same time even when in different rooms. They finish eachother's sentences.
Although their personalities are very different they seem to share a brain.

ID twins, not genetic.
I dont think they look it but I get stopped and told they do.
Oh and I had them tested so they are, ha.
I dont typically dress them a like often due to getting extreme amts of hand me downs and well most arent the same lol
i do it on holidays and for photos and every now and then, for fun :)
they are ID and I can tell them a part.
SO different when it comes to personalities but yes like MrsDrMatt....they do things at the same time but mine at 2 1/2 and not as talkitive.
Lots of fun, lots of fun.

Mommies of twins...
I have fraternal twin boys. Twins run in my moms side of the family. When I found out I was shocked, like you, I always thought it was such a cool thing. I still feel like I won a prize, having twins!
I can tell my boys apart and to me they really do look different. But everyone else is confused. I like dressing them alike, although as they get older I will be dressing them different. It's so hard, IMO, to find boys clothes I like so I usually buy two of the same.
They have different personalities, one is so sweet and cuddly and the other is more social and rambunctious.
I love them!

I have fraternal twin boys. They are 7lbs apart & look complete opposite. One blond/one dark...both blue eyed.

I have B/G twins, they have similar features, but my DD gas blonde hair/blue eyes and DS has Dark hair/brown eyes. Their personalities are very different. DD is very independent and my DS is totally opposite. Sometimes I try to dress them in the same colors, but mostly on holidays.

Mommies of twins...
I have fraternal twin girls. I am also a fraternal twin and have a sister. I love it. I love that my parents can watch my girls grow up and they say its deja vu because my girls are a lot like my sister and I. My girls look like sisters but are different in many ways. I dressed them a like all the time until about a year old. Now they are 17 months and I dress them a like for special occasions and if I just feel like it. Sometimes its the same outfit in different colors, or just completely different outfits. They are starting to like to pick their own shirt or pants. I love having twins.

I don't have twins, but I am a twin so I hope I can answer too lol
I have a twin brother, so obviously we're fraternal lol I don't think it would be possible for us to be any more different from each other in both the personality & looks departments. In fact, we don't even look like brother & sister - a lot of kids in high school thought that we were cousins, not siblings lol We fought a lot growing up & often denied each others existence to others, but we've been pretty close since we hit our mid-20s 
My mom did dress us alike sometimes as kids, but not that often...mostly just for pics I think...

I have b/g twins that are polar opposites. DD is a cuddly mush who is content to play with a book for 30 minutes by herself while DS is boisterous and prefers throwing toys over his head and laughing the whole time. As for looks, my daughter is my twin and my son is my husband's twin though there are elements from each side in each kid. We don't dress them alike or coordinating typically though if someone gets them outfits like that we do try to put them in at the same time.

Identical not genetic. Identicals are not genetic - it's a mutation ;). Val and I are identical and I tell her all the time that I was so great, she needed to clone me and she is the mutation lol. Only fraternal are genetic.
