Mixed / Multi-ethnic babies?
Anyone expecting a mixed or multi-ethnic baby?
Just curious who you think your baby will resemble - you or your spouse.
I'm Asian and my hubby is English/German. Everyone in our family is curious to see if the baby will be more asian or caucasian. I gotta admit, we're abit curious too. :D

Our baby won't be multi-ethnic, but from what I understand Asian genes are very strong, and are dominent.

My friends are a mixed couple, she is white and he is from El Salvador...their son is adorable...skin is a little lighter than dad's...has mom's hair and ears, but everything else is dad.

I am all Mutt (dark features)and DH is all Cuban (dark features). I hope the kid has my looks with his ability to make money!
Seriously, if this kid comes out with blond hair...there will be questions!!!!

the baby will look like you! I'm german and can honestly say that I am 100% recessive Any other genes enter the mix and mine are silenced! Maybe some english genes will come through.....

My SIL is mexican and my brother is white/irish. My niece has our skin coloring, but dark black hair with these big brown eyes.
Everyone actually thinks she's asian!

My cousin and his wife have 3 children (all under 3  )
He is mostly italian with some irish and probably other caucasian mixes in there).
His wife is Asian.
Their first son has light brown hair and although he has asian features, they are not too strong.
Their second son and baby girl are all Asian!!!
It's amazing what comes out!
DH's mother is German and his father is Native American/African American/German/and more.. with dark skin and black hair.
DH looks about as white as I am!!! Cracks me up!

A friend of mine has 2 girls half-Asian and half-Caucasian. The girls look absolutely adorable!

My mom loves asian babies, because frankly, they are just adorable! When I got pregnant, she asked if it could be an asian baby (obviously not serious), I was like, I would love to help you out, but I don't think you'll get what you want.

I am 100% Greek and my boyfriend has German/Irish in him. I thought my purebred Greek genes (dark hair/eyes/skin) would kick his mixed genes out the door. Boy was I wrong. My  has milky white skin, blue eyes and very light brown hair bordering on reddish blonde. I am starting to wonder who this boys MOTHER is!!!

I totally agree! My friend is Irish and her boyfriend was Vietnamese. They have the most adorable little boy. He looked TOTALLY like her when he was born - couldn't even see any traces of Vietnamese - but since he turned 1, you can totally see more of the features from his dad. He has the most BEAUTIFUL eyes and coloring... a perfect mix of both mom and dad

I'm 100% Italian with light features (blue eyes, light hair), DH is 100% Puerto Rican with dark hair and eyes. Our son has a nice "sun-kissed tan" complexion and hazel eyes

I am filipino and my husband is Italian. Our DD is a cross between us. Like for example- i have blk hair and DH has light brown/dark blond hair. DD has auburnish hair. In the winter she is very fair skinned and tans well in the summer (just like her dad). I only the other hand have olive skin and tan with only one day of sun.
I mean she definitely looks mixed.

My niece is black/white/middle eastern. She has light brown skin, brown eyes and curly hair. So cute! My nephew is hispanic/white/middle eastern. He is definitely more hispanic and gorgeous!

DH is puerto rican/panamanian and I am russian and polish. He is much much darker than I am. I am hoping that the baby comes out tan - like a mix between the two of us. I do know it is giong to have curly wild hair b/c both of us do!

DH is Puerto Rican and I'm 100% Irish. It's going to be really interesting to see who baby looks like. I have VERY fair skin and green eyes, and DH typically looks very fair, but was very dark-skinned when he was a baby--and he has big brown eyes.
Either way, I think  is going to be a cutie pie.
