Missed a BC pill...Update in last post
AF was due last week and has not shown up...is it possible to get PG if you miss 1 pill?
I'm a little concerned and wonder if I should test?

I know this is a stupid question...I'm just looking for others opinions before I go buy a test

If you are normally on schedule and you are late, it can't hurt to test. If your test is negative then it could simply be stress. Just test and clear your mind. Good luck!

I agree, test to put your mind at ease. I was on Loestrin 24 and I had a few months where AF never showed up. But I tested and got BFN. Definitely put my mind at ease. GL

It is possible... I don't know though. Did you take all your other pills at the same time every day. Were you on antibiotics?
I would test just to be sure.

I'm Loestrin 24 as well and I haven't missed a period yet...I'm just concerned b/c we ya know..one night..took my pill, then the next night I forgot....the day after that I doubled up...but I know sperm can stay alive in your body for up to 24 hours, so that is why i'm so nervous.
I guess I will go buy a test later and find out...and try to hide it...I'm at my parents house for the next few weeks visiting

I think it's quite unlikely that you are pg from missing just one pill. You could be late from stress, travel (you said you are staying with your parents for a few weeks), or from having been on BC for a while. I started skipping periods after being on it for a few years. If you are that concerned, I would test just to put your mind at ease. good luck.

I was on it for about a year before I skipped a few AF. Made me nervous too, so I know how you feel! I wasn't always the best at taking the pill every single day. I usually doubled up once a month. The kicker is that you only have a few day window and if AF doesn't come, you start back up on the pills again. So I would test right away b/c I didn't want to start the new pack if I was PG. Update:
I tested....BFN!
I'm very relieved...I've been on this pill for 7 months and haven't skipped a period and in the few years I've been on BCP I've never skipped...So I guess there is a first time for everything! I was just nervous with the timing of the missed pill.
