Miss Midgie's Preschool
Does anyone use them? If so, what do you think? Are you planning on sending your kiddo to their summer camp?
I'm pretty sure we're going to send ds to their 2 day 3 yr old program in the fall, but I'm not sure about the camp over the summer yet...

Re: Miss Midgie's Preschool
DD is currently enrolled there. She is in the 4yo program. She loves it. We switched her to that school because of its location to our house but also because of the great feedback we got about the school.
DD went to the camp last summer. It's great. They do a variety of activities from arts and crafts to karate to dance. We are not enrolling her in the camp this year only because we are going on a lengthy summer trip and she will miss a lot of classes.

Re: Miss Midgie's Preschool
My DS went to the camp there last summer (he was 4 at the time). He loved it - so many activities and arts and crafts projects, and he loved the karate. I'm looking into possibly sending him again this summer.

Re: Miss Midgie's Preschool
i am a preschool teacher at miss midgies preschool and my son is in the pre-k class (about to graduate) their summer camp is great (i will actually be working it) you can choose a 3 or 6 week session and each week there is either karate, dancing, or some other fun activity. its affordable and fun and in air conditioning which is good because its not good for kids to be outdoors for too many hours running around in the hot sun and humid weather.
the school is still taking summer camp registration...
i will be teaching the 3 yr old mon/wed/fri class in the fall...wouldnt it be funny if i had your DC!

Re: Miss Midgie's Preschool
Thanks so much everyone
I checked out a few other places & wound up signing him up for both summer camp & nursery school at Miss Midgie's. I really liked what I saw there & think ds will like it a lot - he ran around and started playing right away when we went for the tour lol
I'll be dropping ds off once a week for camp so guess I'll be seeing you regularly in a few weeks Amy! I'll be sure to introduce myself

Re: Miss Midgie's Preschool
I know I'm bumping an old post...
My mom would be dropping and picking up so I need to ask. How is the parking there? It looks like it is only 109 and Arnold. Mom is not a NYer so she can't parallel park.

There's actually a small lot behind the building that she can use - the entrance to it is on Arnold.
ETA to the parallel parking comment

Thanks! And it's true. We are original Florida crackers, parallel parking wasn't even on my driving test.

Re: Miss Midgie's Preschool
PS...what other places did you compare it to? Since you've already done the leg work I can just piggy back on you
